Join us on a nine-day, eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise in November 2018!

Let’s combine education with pleasure as we explore the eastern Caribbean together.
Nurses from all practice areas join us for an action-packed, memorable nine-day adventure, featuring education, networking, exploration, relaxation & fun.

The Conference theme is: “The Latest Advances in Health Care Delivery and their Implication for Nursing Practice“. The content will be both relevant and of interest to Nurses working in the acute hospital setting, community health, public health, aged care, and doctor surgeries. As well as those Nurses working in the area of policy development, health education, and Nursing research.

Presenters:

Cheryl Dezotti

Cheryl Dezotti is a Director and Nurse Education Specialist at the Nurses for Nurses Network. Cheryl co-created and administers this Network to provide an online platform for Nurses to meet their continuing professional development requirements. She is also the editor, and major contributor, of the Nursing News Blog associated with this Network.

Cheryl’s varied and interesting career highlights include clinical experience in acute surgical, medical, and renal dialysis. The completion of her Master’s degree in Quality in Health Care led to senior management roles in both the acute and aged care sectors, the later leading to her appointment as a Nurse Advisor and Administrator with the Department of Health and Ageing.

Cheryl has worked extensively in the field of education in a number of healthcare and university settings. She has a passion for wound care and has lectured widely on the subject in both Australia and internationally. This passion has led her to author a wound assessment book as well as creating a post graduate wound care course.

Cheryl’s aim is to make a difference to the recipients of health care and she believes that a positive outcome for the patient can only be achieved if Nurses keep up to date with best practice guidelines and their practical application in the workplace.

Sue Walker

Sue Walker is a Registered Nurse and holds a Masters Degree in Primary Health Care. Sue has worked in the acute sector, community health, and aged care as a clinician, educator, and manager. Her role at the Nurses for Nurses Network is Nurse Consultant (education). Sue continues to keep abreast of health industry issues via her participation in a number of Nursing committees and panels. Sue regularly escorts Nursing study tour groups and enjoys seeing how health care is provided throughout the world.
